Fourth Medium-Term Objectives and Plans

Basic Philosophy:
Create a “student-centered university,” “a university that shines with the community,” and “a university that connects with the world.
Vision:
Leading the region and contributing to society from a global perspective through education, research, and social activities.
STRATEGY: (1)
(1) In addition to the medium- and long-term challenges of declining birthrates, aging populations, and escalating global environmental problems, the entire university will work together to address the new challenges of restructuring values and social systems in a with-corona society.
(2) Promote diversity as an organization, recognizing that universities also need to transform their functions and social roles along with changes in society.
(3) Contribute to building a sustainable and resilient community by making it multifunctional as a “center of knowledge in the region” for all generations.

Fourth Medium-Term Objectives
The Fourth Medium-Term Objectives are the objectives set forth by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology for Ehime University during the six-year period from FY2009 to 2027.
Fourth Medium-Term Plan
The Fourth Medium-Term Plan is a plan prepared by Ehime University, a national university corporation, to achieve its Fourth Medium-Term Goals and approved by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
Plans equivalent to Ehime University’s own mid-term plan” for the 4th mid-term goal period
Ehime University’s own “Plan Equivalent to the Medium-Term Plan” for the 4th Mid-Term Goal Period is the university’s own plan, in addition to the Medium-Term Plan stipulated in the National University Corporation Law, that should be addressed during the 4th Mid-Term Goal Period and with the 5th Mid-Term Goal Period in mind.
